I can't email
past 5:00pm your time.
This
week has been interesting... We got transfer calls and I am being transferred
to cover 3 Polynesian wards!!! One is Samoan and one might be Cambodian... Not
sure yet. And I don't know where I will be living either. The mission is still
trying to figure out because not everyone that wants to go to the Polynesian
Ward lives in one area. So, I will have a car. I will also be in a trio. My new
companions are Sister Faaofo from American Samoa and Sister Neemia from Western
Samoa. I don't know sister Neemia but I served a little with Sister Faaofo in
Tooele and I absolutely love her. She is so sweet and so amazing!!
This
change is a little nerve racking but I know that it's all God's call and he
only wants to best for his children, so it's going to be good!! I have always
been interested in the Polynesian culture since I came on my mission,
especially when I was serving out in Tooele. So I'm excited for this chance to
be in it!
I am
sad to be leaving Hunter West, I have met so many amazing and wonderful people
here that have changed my life and taught me so many things, I will for sure be
coming back to visit and staying in contact with them... Or at least try hard
to! 😁
I
know that my Savior lives. I know he has redeemed you and me. I know that the
scriptures are true and that we can find our answers in them. I know that God
is all powerful and all loving and that he answers prayers. I know that through
Him we can be healed.
Love,
Sister
Abby Martinez
